Dr. R. Bruce Hull teaches Nature and American Values to undergraduates and Constructing Sustainability to graduate students at Virginia Tech. His scholarship and engagement focus on innovative conservation strategies that heal land and community fractured by pressures of urbanization and globalization. He helps organize and facilitate discussions on polarizing environmental challenges. He advises local, state and federal agencies, and numerous nonprofits. In addition to Infinite Nature, he has authored or edited over 100 publications, including Restoring Nature (Island 2000).
